Some people find their voice early. For Devon Gillespie, the voice came in layers — first through the strings of a viola, then through the pages of a journal, and finally through the speakers of a recording studio.
Growing up in Bingham, Maine, Devon developed a deep connection to both music and language. After graduating from Upper Kennebec Valley High School, Devon attended Southern Maine Community College and Kennebec Valley Community College — building knowledge while never stopping the creative work that defines the DelGoni identity.
As DelGoni, Devon creates music that blends soul, blues, hip-hop, and electronic production — a sound that refuses to be boxed in. Tracks like Sora, Angel Magick, and 150bpmreflect a restless creative energy that is always evolving.
As a writer, Devon has published the Growth series — a multi-volume exploration of spirituality, identity, and transformation through poetry and prose. The series has grown alongside its author, each book marking a new chapter in a very real journey of self-discovery.
And then there is The Crazy Between Us — a satirical work that shows another dimension entirely. Sharp, unapologetic, and deeply American.
